Facial acupuncture treatments are designed to address disorders of the temporomandibular (TMJ) joints. By needling the face we release muscular tension, improve joint functioning, and improve neurological pathways. Stress is often also a contributing factor to TMD, and is also addressed in this treatment if needed.
